Summary of Corona Renderer in Blender

  • 06 November 2014

Summing things up

TThe entire tutorial may seem too overloaded and detailed as I think explaining the most basic Corona workflow in a video form would take only one or two hours. However, there are some people out there switching to Blender form other 3D applications and many things (for instance texture workflow from previous part) might be quite hard for them to follow. Anyways, to make things a bit more clear, I'd like to sum up all the necessary steps you need to take in order to fully use Corona and Blender. I would also like to compare three most common rendering engines available for Blender form my personal perspective since I'm using them professionally on a daily basis.

Corona and Blender 10 step guide

Corona, V-ray or Cycles?

Below I'd like to share some of my thoughts on three most popular rendering engines available for Blender. Since I've been using them for quite a long time now (except Corona of course) I had some thoughts about their usability in different projects, advantages and disadvantages.

Conclusion

I really hope you've enjoyed this tutorial and got motivated to learn something new. It is very common that people argue which software is better and more "professional" but all of them have some advantages and drawbacks. The best solution is to always progress and learn new things, especially when they're worth it!
